Hello everyone,

I called NVC today and was told my husband's interview has been scheduled for 10/20/17. I was wondering, since they just told me this today, and the lady I spoke to told me it was just scheduled today, how long until I get an e-mail or letter?

Thank you

How long after you submitted your ds-260 and supporting documents did you recieve your interview date?

We submitted our ds-260 February 20, and got interview date 9/19.  But we got a checklist beginning of June which is why it took so long. NVC requested a police report. We sent it to them 6/13, and then got case complete 8/21.

Supposedly, most interviews occur within 30 days. It took around 30 days for us to get our date. But it does depend on the country's consulate. It could take less, or longer.
