Can I use a different POE than the one mentioned during the interview?

I'm a 28 year old engaged girl and my B2 visa interview is next month. I'm a bit nervous and pondering over a few questions. I'm going to be visiting my brother in Chicago and that's what I'm going to say during the visa interview but I've been checking the flight rates online and the flights to LA are waaaaay cheaper than the flights to Chicago. So I'm thinking of arriving at LAX airport, do a bit of sightseeing for the afternoon and then catch a flight to Chicago to finally visit my brother. My question is, would this look suspicious and land me in trouble at the POE?? Thanks!

You can enter at any US POE. You can sightsee elsewhere before finally meeting your brother. Besides, it's a valid reason that you decided to enter at LAX because prices were cheaper.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.
