How long does it take USCIS or ICE to inform you of a pending investigation against you for visa violation?

I am nearing the end of my F-1 visa. I have reason to believe that an angry ex may have filed a complaint with USCIS or ICE at some point in the last three years claiming I had intended to use my F-1 visa with immigrant intent. I am concerned because I did indeed have a text conversation before beginning F-1 status that said that I may want to pursue a career in the U.S. after F-1. Since having begun F-1, I did ultimately decide to take a job in the U.S. and hope to change my status to TN. I am terrified that there might be some sort of evidence pending against me in the form of this text conversation from a complaint filed by this jilted ex that I don't know about. Is there any way I could find this information out? I really don't want to call ICE and open a Pandora's Box. I also don't want to wait until the day of the TN visa to find out there are concerns about using F-1 with immigrant intent. I suspect the ex complained close to two years ago- would I have known about that by now?

1. I doubt they take angry ex information seriously. There are tons of angry exes on VJ figuring out if they can file complaints to USCIS.

2. You have the opportunity of having a TN visa. There is nothing shady about that. I am sure a lot of top F1 students get jobs in the US.

3. A TN does not have immigration intent.

I would not worry about it.
