Hello Everyone! Just An Update on this.

So USCIS never notified us or updated our case status online! Our form I-601A was approved in September! took them exactly 4 months from the filing date!

If your in a similar situation you might want to try calling the NVC, they were the only ones who could help me. Since USCIS is working kinda slow.

Good Luck to everyone!

I thought so ! Did you check with your lawyer, he had to have received your approval.

We just went this Saturday (to our lawyer) He gave us the entire package to take Medical Appointment, Biometric Appointment, where to get our Police Cert and our Original Waiver approval:D

@Lizziecakes Congrats and best wishes.

When did you file your I-601A? We filed ours Sept. 22, 2017. Hopefully we get the approval too.

Currently, it seems on average, about 3 to 4 months.  Expect to get an answer within a month or so in the mail.  Best of luck.

I called the office, he is still out for vacation, will back around the middle of this week but no, USCIS never sent approval to any of us the approval.

I requested USCIS send us the approval.

What is included in your package? So I can have an idea of what to expect..

We sent it in mid Feb 2017 but didn't get NOA1 until late March approval came August 02 2017, we got a copy of the letter in the mail...it Literally stated "This is a copy, original will be sent to your attorney on file"

Total 4 months 5 days from date check was cashed....

Our attorney made a package containing:

1) Our original waiver approval

2) Address and instructions on where and how to get police cert.

3) Medical appointment confirmation

4) Biometric appointment/location/instructions

5) Affidavit of support (showing original signature) info on AOS is same as previously filed just needed to sign again

6) Cosponsor tax transcript (also would have allowed his original 1040 with original signature)

7) Copies of all our civil docs Marriage cert, birth cert of petitioner / beneficiary / kids ( He instructed us to take the originals also, he only provided copies for in case the officer wants to keep them)

8) Confirmation of courier service (DHL pick-up) registration

9) Instructed us to take six (6) passport sized pictures with us.

We turned in a criminal record letter when we turned in our I-601A. Did you?

Your approval should be coming either this month or next month. I know how you feel, excited and nervous all at the same time! :jest::wacko:

Ours took just a couple days short of 4 months.

No, we didn't.

We did, but because we included it in my husband's affidavit, we included it as an exhibit.
