I think it is a little too soon for that.  I don't expect anybody getting approval until somewhere between March-April 2018.

My now wife and I contemplated the K1 for about 4 months earlier this year and then we got scared of the time it was taking for alot of people that we decided by May to schedule a civil court wedding in her hometown back in Mexico with both of our families present.  I am glad we did this because it is taking longer for a K1 to be approved in some cases than an CR1.

i sent a request to the service center due to financial hardship but i think it also helped that I live abroad with my spouse.

I am u.s citizen and filed Petition i130 for my overseas spouse and under 21 son on 24 sep.

Priority date is 10 OCT.

Service center is Texas.

Since 65 days have passed and the online status is still (case was receieved).

Hoping for a soon case completion.

Hope we can update each other for any change in their status.
