I need to ship my support affidavit (original copy) to my fiance'. What is the best courier to use? I would like to send it the most reliable way. Cost really is not a factor, but the cheaper the better : ).

Thanks in advance!

If you must send something like documents to the Philippines in a fast and reliable method you can use DHL and Fedex. Do not use the USPS because it will turn over to Philpost and may or may not arrive on time or at all.

The best one is the hand-delivery one (AKA you visit him!). :P After that, DHL seems pretty reliable IMHO. Just avoid USPS...USPS itself is fine but they will handoff to Philippine Post, which is some sort of black hole.

Lets ask DHL that question as each courier is different and sometimes they hand your package off to a local courier company that meets DHL's requirements for any given area.

DHL will deliver to your fiance. I used them to send a cell phone to my fiance and had no problems. It was much less than what FedEx quoted me. If you have an LBC location in your area I would try them as well. When I sent the cell phone it was before LBC started doing air shipping which is why I chose DHL.

They will send it directly to your fiance. What province is he in? If he is a far off province and not a metro area it could take a couple extra days(1-3) before it gets to him. That is because they might want to wait until a few more packages come in for that area. That happened with my wife a few times, and I know one time she just went to place and picked it up so she could get it asap.

He lives in Batangas City. There are two locations pretty close to him. I sent an inquiry to the DHL website. I'm hoping to hear back soon.

Yeah if he lives in Batangas City which is a metro area then they will send it directly to him. No need for an inquiry to them because a number of us have used DHL in the past with no problem.

Not sure "who" DHL hands-off to in the Phils, FEDEX hands-off to 2GO.    Most will deliver to the address, if not out in the province, or no actual street address.

You can email most documents, the I-134 is the only one that has a signature/date

I was going to say that as well about the LBC but when I looked I couldn't find one in her area. If she had an LBC in the area I would say use that as well.
