Green Card Missing, Who Do We Call?

5 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

The I-551 / Green Card showed up for my wife (the main applicant) and one of my two step children, but not the other.

I'm absolutely certain our payment for all three went through and was confirmed...

We even have the receipt for it.

How would we go about having the Green Card resent for the child we didn't receive it for?

Is there a particular phone number to call, or a particular place we need to go to and make an appointment?

Thank you,

@Dee elle - Thanks for your reply.

The receipt showed confirmation for all 3.

It's been 3 months now since I posted and it still hasn't arrived.

Any idea who I call or where I go?

Thank you!

Call the USCIS , use the IOE number generated on your receipt and ask for an update on the card. Having paid for all 3 is only the first step... all 3 are processed separately. My husband's arrived 5 weeks after we entered, mine took 6 months.....

You can also check the status on the USCIS website... using the IOE number for the one you are still waiting for,,,
