N400 - No response on Change of Address Request

Hello guys:

I filed my N-400 in July and recently I moved to a new address (In mid-Aug and only few miles away) so I submitted my request to change my address online. I submitted the request on Aug 19th and then I received a confirmation email with an "expect a reply" date (Aug 31). However until now I still not receive any email on whether my request has been approved or not.

How long does this process usually take? What should I do now?  Thanks

Here are some options:

Try to create an account USCIS, by logging on and adding a case, you will be able to see full information of a processing case.

(1) You might find from the right "Case History", your request might be completed. However, USCIS did not inform you, in this stage, your request was complete and you don't need to do anything. If you did not see it,

(2) From the left "Next Steps", you would see something you current requested. If you saw a request you have been made currently is not appointed to an officer for processing. Submit a request once again.

I put two address change requests for my N400 and I-130. I received a mail couple weeks later  for my I-130 application that the address changed has been completed. The confirmed mail for N-400 never arrive though. So I logged in my USCIS online account and checked the case history, it was showing my change request was completed for my N-400 application.

Hi lojoky,

Like you, I'm a July filer from the C-U area, moving to a new address nearby very soon. Would like to know if you ever get a response from them as I'll be communicating my change of address over the next few weeks.

Thanks!
