Notice was returned

So today I got email that notice was returned because post could not deliver it. This is so frustrating. MA last case status was "FINGERPRINT FEE WAS RECEIVED" I filed e-request, but they said to expect the answer on that request by 23d of September. What are they going to do this whole time? Means that the case is frozen for now? How long should we wait until this notice will be mailed again?

Little advise: Double check your address on usps.com under Look Up a ZIP Code. You'd be surprised how many people miss their mail because their address isn't formatted to USPS standards. Also did you recently move? If yes did you setup forwarding with usps.com and change your address on uscis.gov?
