Hi guys

Just got our date it's October 4th. Was wondering how many days in advance everyone had their medical appointment? My hubby called and the woman told me him about all these different timelines. Does anyone have experience with this in Guatemala?

I can say in Honduras we had the same issue.  We got the impression from the person who answered the phone at the Dr.'s office that the exam had to be within 10 days of the interview, which wasn't true.

He actually had to go twice.  Once for some preliminary paperwork, photos and the initial blood draw and x-rays.  The second was days later for the actual exam, vaccines, etc.  They would have preferred a third visit to come and pick up the paperwork, but he insisted they do it then.  The Honduran doctor's office was a bit sloppy with the paperwork...attaching his picture to a woman's file, etc.  Double check their work...they put it in a sealed envelope but you can see it first.

I don't know of anything as far as a specific timeline that I could find after all.   Once you have your visa letter, you can go ahead and schedule.
