Received my EAD/AP combo card in the mail today, December 6th. Old style card, not the new one. My notice date was November 29th, and they mailed the card on December 1st. Case status still shows rece

I just called USCIS and I have been speaking with a tier 2 officer which told me my advance parole and work permit are on the way and gave me a track number!! 🤩 My NOA date is sept 19!

Hi planning to mail out mine on Friday. Any advice or help in reviewing it? Sent out I-485, I-693,I-864, & I-765 forms. With it attached check, passport copies, k-1 visa, noa2, 1-94, birth certificates, marriage certificates, g-325a, passport pictures, bank statements, 3 year taxes, letter from employer of may 2017, & pay stubs....anything missing?  Really would appreciate y'all help. :) Good Wednesday!!

Congrats!!!  With the new updated I-485 form the G325A is no longer required.  Just make sure you have the current I-485 :)  Other than that we also included the DS3025 (vaccine report) and a couple of photos from our small wedding.

I am planning to send my husband's I-485 out this weekend. He already had a Visa so he's just adjusting his status. What really do I need to include? I sent out the I-130 in July and have a PD date of July 14th. I've only received the NOA1 so we are still waiting on that.

We only have a photocopy of DS3025 from the doctor. Does it have to be the original?

You can send a photocopy in with your AOS packet.  If they want to see the original, if you should have an interview, you can explain at that time you only received a photocopy from doctor.

Hello everyone!!! I am on a F-1 Student VISA with STEM OPT extension, filing for AOS :)

 

I just filed my package with all the forms and everything yesterday morning!

(Or so I thought...) I had my birth certificate translated Thursday night, and they gave me a sealed packet. I was so excited and mailed my package Friday morning. They emailed me Thursday night wanting to remind me that they did not include my original copies and just included translations in the sealed envelope. I got back from USPS and read my email.

 

Should I wait until I have NOAs and send my original copy with a copy of NOA? Or should I send my birth certificate now first thing Monday morning to Chicago? 

Would this delay my process...?

 

Thank you all in advance for your help! And hope all of us have a good experience with USCIS, especially with everything going on right now!

If I was you I would just wait for the NOA - if they send it. In my experiences, sending individual items to USCIS after the package has been submitted often results in a loss of the item. Not all of the time I'm sure, but if you wanna be sure they get it - wait for the NOA.

Finally mailed our AOS packet last Friday. Hoping it arrives at the lockbox today. Looks like e-notifications for NOA1 are taking about 1 weeks. Here's to hoping for a speedy process for us September filers! :)

Congrats!  It did take a week for our e-notification and today (according to USPS informed delivery) we will be getting the hard copies in the mail
