Filling f400 question

Hello I'm planing to file my n400 but confused If I fille it written by hand it will not Ben delayed or PDF Ian the best way and gayest to be approved ? Thanks

Either you fill it online OR complete it manually with black pen. Both ways are accepted but make sure manual handwriting is legible if you're doing it manually.

Handwriting the application will not delay it in any way.  If they can't read your handwriting, though, they will send the entire application back to you and tell you to submit a new one----which then would delay your processing a little bit, yes.

Nowadays, since you can download the form N400 PDF from USCIS onto your computer, why dont you just fill the form on the computer and print it out for subsmission? i dont think handwritting is a good idea since you have better option . 

 

imaging if you were the officer reviewing the N400 form but the form is handwritten horribly, do you still have appetite to continue ?

While I agree that it's better to type it out so that it's more legible, I sincerely doubt officers are adjudicating applications based on how well the applicant's handwriting is as part of their criteria for determining approval of citizenship.

Thank u I know how to type but How can I fill the form from PDF uscis ? Can anyone help me ? What are steps to transfer PDF file from uscis website to simple document I can modify .

You should be able to directly work on the PDF downloaded from the USCIS website.  Save the PDF to your computer once it's downloaded, then open it up and you should be able to edit it (fill it in) and save your work as you go.
