My fiance had his interview last Monday August 21st and its in an application received status and his visa was approved. What does that status mean ?

Did he receive his visa or are you waiting?

 

Usually it says:

"Received" or

"Administrative processing" 

When you are waiting...

 

 

It will change when the visa is issued.

Well they took his passport and he received a blue slip. It just says Application received

Its probably the step prior to administrative processing ..they probably havnt printed the k1 visa yet. There is a forum regarding this online on google. But some go from ar to ap to issued from the sounds of it. Maybe they are just a little behind hang in there !

Your fiancé should go to the DHL office listed on the blue sheet two weeks after his interview. His visa should be available at that time. When my husband's visa was approved it changed to issued the night of the interview, but it still took them two weeks to get it to the DHL office.
