I was reviewing my packet with my wife and we realized I read the wrong number on my Italian tax return and I had to file taxes which I didn't... will this affect our visa interview? I can't file married filed separately because I make over 4 k . I qualify for head of house hold though. But I don't make enough to file it. What can I do? I don't want to reschedule anything. It's in two weeks.. can I write a written fatemene saying I didn't need to file because I didn't make enough to file for head of household? Before commenting read about HoH and the married to non resident alien part. Thanks!! Let's get the ball rolling

Do you have another qualifying person (besides your spouse) to include to use HOH filing status ? If so you should be fine submitting a letter stating you did not file because you are below the threshold. If you dont have another person to include then you need to file as married separately.
