Thank you, what makes me not panic is that the consular was so nice and he laughed when i said something funny and said visa is approved.

It's a long journey though.

Everyone goes through AP. Only difference is the length of AP experienced by each person.

Don't panic.  ALL visas go through some form of Administrative Processing---every one!  Every case is different, and some countries require more time.  It could take a few days, weeks, or months......

UPDATE!!!! My status changed from "Administrative Processing" to "ISSUED" this morning!!! apparently if there are no issued with your case, your status might change from AP to issued in 24 hrs. Someon

Awesome! I wish all the consulars were as nice as the one you got. Mine was very indifferent during the interview but she wasn't mean. Thank you! And best of luck to you too

I hope it doesn't take long to get the visa ... Iam checking every day AP Iam tired of that  last update was July 25 ... nothing to do I have to wait ..

why has it taken too long for you? did the co say anything to you during the interview? did you miss a document?

Creation of the actual visa is AP, it is a catch all status from meaningless to problems, it is a normal status for all visas

The embassy's website for Jordan says cases that are undergoing Administrative processing should be done within 6 months
