How fast can I get interview appt?

Does anybody know the wait time to schedule interview in Manila? 

If we call today , how many days average do you have to wait for interview ?

Why wait. You can schedule online and choose your date. Keep in mind that the schedule is usually booked 30 days out but their are some cancellations.

Still not an answer, just someone's experience

 

.. .they won't know until they look at the scheduling calendar online .. or call.  Then they can see the earliest dates available.

I understand, but the OP was looking for a guesstimate of time of how far out the interviews are being done. And received answers to his question of "why wait" and " no waiting".. no big deal, just my observation.

that sucks.....

i wonder if we call ,they can find something earlier?

Nope.  They look at the same calendar as you.

 

Here is the deal, earlier openings do show when someone cancels .. if you can be patient and not schedule anything yet you just may get lucky      Still it is a gamble.

Can we schedule, then look back everyday and if something comes up earlier ,can we change it to that date ?

You can.. with limitations.  You are only allowed to reschedule twice, after that embassy can get cranky... and you could very likely be forking over another visa fee, plus enjoy a delay. 

 

And if you run into any delays with anything along the way ... well you get the idea.

Get the earliest date you can before it's taken by someone else.  If you gamble, you might wait longer than you'll originally do.

 

It used to be a week or two waiting for the interview, but that was in the last quarter of 2014.

I'm more apt to follow Hanks suggestion. He has a few years (+10) here helping 1,000 get their visa's. Just my two cents.

Once we paid Visa fee and receipt cleared we were able to open up interview dates  on website and almost ALL of September was open .. thanks goodness
