Case not found on uscis for Aug2017

I receieved NOA1 for my applications but its been a week and no update on the uscis website under 'my cases'. Their system is unable to find any case. I tried calling uscis and after much waiting the call exec also cudnt tell me the status as he cudnt find the case. He said they also dnt see my private info for verification as its security issue but if 797 has reached me so it should be fine. 

Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Its been a week since noa1 now.

Some have that issue for a few days, some for a few weeks, for some it never works. Our receipt number was "broken" like that for 5 months, only after we contacted customer service xx times they finally got someone to fix it.

When i first got e-notifications I started looking for case status by entering case numbers and i was getting a error. IN the e-mail it clearly states "..........Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number MSC.......... With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status"

 

So i suggest you wait until you get the hard copies. The day i got my hardcopies, that very evening I again tried to enter case numbers and then i got to see the status of 3 cases.

Update : I did not see any case status online till about 8 days after receiving hard copy 797. I had called USCIS and luckily the next day itself it appeared  

I suggest wait for 10 days max after receiving notice by mail and then call uscis just to confirm. I have heard of cases where by mistake some wrong number gets entered into the system and just a typo of one digit can make the waiting miserable. Its always better to call and confirm.
