Just received email and text confirmation of NOA1 at 8:57PM

We received two texts and emails of I-797, do we need to wait for a third one since we filed AOS/EAD/AP or two was it?

Hi fellow August filers! I'm looking forward to having buddies during this waiting game. 

 

Re: the NBC thing people are asking about in this thread... I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the processing center will process the EAD/AP, but will check the AOS documents for RFEs and then redirect the AOS to the local office. At least I hope this is the case -- it would explain why the NBC doesn't list processing times for the I-485. Thoughts?

The level of variability in everyone's timelines is so bizarre. 

 

Our package was delivered to the Chicago lock box on August 8th, but we only received the enotifications on the 16th, and we still haven't received any of the notices in the mail. 

 

However, we were immediately able to look up our case status with receipt numbers, though some people who have received the mail notices still can't access these. I wonder what the reason is for this...

We sent the AOS packet on July 21 and got NOA 1 dated July 26 for EAD and AP only. We got a text that AOS was received but got nothing in the mail. We also haven't received anything about biometrics. Is this normal?? What is happening?

Hoping to file the AOS paperwork by the end of the week! I am curious about the I-864 form – did you all use the form that expired 7/31/2017? I looked at the USCIS website today when I saw that date on the form I was using, but they don’t have an up to date one listed as far as I can tell. I don’t want to get an RFE for using an expired document…

 

Is there a new form out there that I haven't been able to find?

Always use the one in their official site: https://www.uscis.gov/i-864

 

They are providing one expiring on the 07/31/2017 so that's what we used. If anything it is their responsibility to update them.
