At long last an email came from Manila consulate that they received the NVC case and they advise scheduling interview. My question is how long after getting this letter do you have to complete the interview? Is there a deadline?

The NOA2 has a validity. You either get things done within that validity or request for the embassy for an extension :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

The I-129F's approval (NOA2) is initially valid for 4 months. The embassy will usually auto-extend it if the case is still being worked on, or you can request for them to extend it.

Thank you guys. Expiration of NOA2 is end September. That should be plenty of time. Once they issue visa how long is the travel window?

The visa is valid for 6 months from the medical or the interview...whichever came first (usually the medical). It can be used at any point during that 6 month window (even if the NOA2 is expired by then).

Hi.. my fiancé want to know what he will buy ticket for me and for my 2 kids, round trip tickets or one way?

Assuming you are entering on a K-1 or immigrant visa...

Either is fine...sometimes round trip is cheaper (which makes no sense, but that's what it is). If you do get round trip tickets, make sure to cancel the return flight after entering the US. There's a rare chance they will think you actually left the US on said flight if you don't cancel it, which will delay your AOS and just cause unnecessary frustration.
