Overall 60 days is a fair comment, some Consulates have a much longer average.

Nop it has been 63 days. Parenthese confirmed me that I have the longest AP they have ever seen. So proud of this new record :D. They even offered me a virtual medal by email !!!  

But honestly, I would have preferred to have a refusal 2 months ago.

Just to let you know that I cancelled my J1 training after 70 days of AP. The host company couldn't wait more... What a bad experience, so much effort for nothing...

I'm sorry for that , I think I will be next it's been now 62 days with no update no answer no nothing , they are not treating visa applicants with any respect or dignity , when they say you will get an answer in 2-5 business days they don't answer you , it has been such a stressful and bad experience checking the 'ceac' website at least 3 times a day waiting for an update or a status change .
