Since I've been living abroad and don't have that good paying of a job. Is it possible to combine mine and my wife's ( principle immigrants) income, saving.. etc. on my affidavit? And if all of those are more than 125% poverty level, would that work? Thanks for the intel.

Only if both your incomes continue when you move to the USA, because it is current and ongoing income that counts, not past income.  So for example if you both  work for Microsoft, and they will transfer you to their US office, then yes, you can combine and use that income.  But if you need to quit your jobs abroad, then no, that income doesn't count (neither yours nor hers).  In that case, you have three options:

- Sponsor on assets (preferably US based)

- You go to the USA first and find a job to sponsor her.

- Find a US based co-sponsor.
