I filed for my husband 129f ( K3 visa) already married in Dec 2016 and my case was sent to Nebraska but I live in California. Still not word of approval letter and when you try to inquire, I'm told they are in their processing time line. Nebraska is slow and needs to transfer case loads of 129 F (already married) forms to California as this slowness starts affecting families and raises unnecessary doubts in your spouses mind, so please Nebraska step it up as I need my husband and this is July and still no word. You're destroying families and making them loose hope...

Is anyone else suffering like I am????

This is suffering agony...

Welcome to the black hole of the immigration process. Everyone of us here has a story to share. The only thing that is going to help is patience

Yes I understand you very well. I think after my husband arrives I'm going to start a petition that will get addressed to immigration so they will see the importance of getting family together faster as family at times is all we have. The separation causes stress, financial, hardships and not to mention doubts that your spouse starts having and that causes more stress and strain on your marriage. God help us all to get our loved ones here to us..

Where did you get the info that the 129f's are being sent to California? We have a similar situation but my husband is in NY. :(

They aren't. Until recently I had no idea that uscis rarely even approved K3 1-129f forms. When I thought that they were being approved I was praying to be transferred but I've learned so much more since July.

Im waiting for my 1-130 approval and have been since Nov 2016. My 129f will be closed out by uscis, so now just want my 1-130 approved like so many others want theirs approved..

Ahh. Thanks for clarifying, Sundee! I am so nervous about this process and it's taking so long. :(

It depends but it took me a year before approval. It’s a long process and heart breaking.
