Offer letter is something they ask for 1st at the EB3 visa interview

Offer letter was first thing I was asked for interview (EB2). I have heard of EB2 and EB3 not being asked for it but I think this is rare. The offer letter needs to be within 1 month of interview and notarized.

They do not actually follow up with the employer so it is difficult to see how they would know if someone had just falsified a letter but ofc this would be serious fraud.

Hi guys,

Has anyone had any experience with the EB-1 interview process at the US embassy in Singapore? I've just got the notification that our application was approved and that they are now scheduling the interview at the embassy. Hope to have it sometime in March.

Am curious to learn from other people's experiences!

Peter

Hi All...

Does any of you all know if there is any difference at NVC interview scheduling between visa's types? for example, I've seen a CR-1 CC on Jan 19 been scheduled the interview for March and this other person EB-2 that had the CC on Dec 6th haven't had an interview date so far. Both PD are current.

My CC is Jan 26 and I'm waiting for interview at Brazilian consulate.

Tks.

@Knychala I called the NVC this morning to check on the scheduling of my interview. They told me my interview was currently scheduled for April 17 and that I should be receiving a written confirmation shortly. Perhaps you can call the NVC and ask them about your case...

Hi @pepestru, congrats on your interview!
I'll call then and check it out. Just hope I get for April, I've been processing with NVC since Aug 2017

@Knychala Just received the written confirmation from the NVC in my inbox. Both CEAC and embassy websites are not updated yet so there must be a delay there but no worries. Can start communicating with the embassy now and see if I can pull the interview forward to sometime in March.
