I was just curious about something. My fiancés sister petition for him a sibling visia back in 2005 at that time my fiance was a teenager. He never received an interview date. I don't believe she ever withdrawn it either. Since he was underage at the time will this hurt our K1 chances at the interview since it still might be in the system after 12 years ?

Sibling visas take a long time to become current. From what I have read, it can take 12-15 years. Is that petition still active? You probably should check and if it is you should have his sister send in a request to cancel it.

I am not sure if it will cause problems processing the K1 visa, but you he should be prepared for the CO to ask about that petition since he has attempted to come to America once before.
