I emailed the tax paperwork, my employment letter, pay stubs. The civil documents were all originals.

Haha..good one @amul. No place can more be hot and humid for an Indian. Delhi is burning as its regular summer. RainGod showed some mercy on us today and its cooled down a bit. But no complaint about "(L)MY DELHI(L)''.

I did all the filing by myself too! Apparently lawyers tend to make more mistakes! Good luck with everything and keep us posted! :D

So I am still a little confused about the Affidavit of support. On the checklist I received it said that there is an error on the AOS but right underneath the instructions only tell us to bring my 2016 W2 to the interview. I have switched jobs ever since so if I do fill out a new AOS should my husband be taking the original to the interview or can he take a photo copy?

She asked my husband about who was calling him, questions about my employment, where did we meet, she looked at pictures. She asked how we communicate and my husband said via FaceTime, whatsapp, fb, telephone calls. She asked for proof but my husband said sorry I didn't bring it but if u let me bring my phone I can show you. She said no that is fine. At the end of the interview she told my husband that she is issuing a 221g for not having the right PCC. She told him everything else is fine, that he doesn't not have to return for another interview. Told him to get the pcc and drop it off with the passport at the dropboxes. My husband said the interview was really easy, just make sure you have the right PCC!!! We have mailed in the right pcc and passport yesterday and we should be hearing an answer soon :)   

I have seen this question a few times.  seems to be a normal question in India.  but what in the world does "Who is calling you mean?".  my husband and I will have our interview in mumbai and this question really baffles me lol.

I feel the same way about this question, but it means, who is petitioning you. :) 

 

If don't spazz out with anxiety at the embassy, I'll try to listen for this question 😅

Hahaaa ok.  thanks for the explaination😁 I assumed thats what it meant but I have never heard it said in that way before

DId you switch jobs after you sent in your documents to the NVC?
