Divorced While Joint I-751 Pending

Hi all!

I filed my I-751 joint petition with my ex-husband last year July 2016.

Unfortunately, we were divorce January of this year

and I sent in my letter along with my divorce decree to USCIS to change my joint petition to a waiver late May.

I was just waiting for my interview letter (since waivers require an interview most of the time)

but I checked my case status today and it shows that my card is in production as of 6/23.

I do not know if they received my letter to change my application to a good faith waiver

and I am not sure if it was approved under my original joint petition with them thinking I am still married.

I just do not want to run in to issues later when I file for citizenship.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated...

Don't worry about it, you're fine.

It's not true that waivers require an interview most of the time, you were correctly approved.
