Hi everybody, another question:

Did any of you apply for a social security number with the DS 260 form? Did it take longer than the 3 usual days to have the visa delivered?

I received the email from Naples today so I'm getting ready for the interview.

Thank you!!

My recollection was that the social security card comes in sometime around the time the green card is delivered, after US entry.

It depends where u receive it. If u ask to send it at home then maybe it will take longer but me and my friend asked to get it at the DHL main place and it took 3 days. And we also did the social security number online.

Hi, me again. My appointment is December 5th, I just wanted to ask a few of questions: did you bring your spouse ( USC)  or we have to go alone? What did they ask? Was it smooth? Did they mention how long does it take to receive the actual green card by mail? Thank you very much!

Hey I joined my wife and they didn’t ask for pictures to show proof but u can go alone also. They ask the immigrant questions about his or her past.  We really talked about our son because the lady was interested and lucky for us she just came back from California so we talked a lot about that. I spoke more than my wife haha. It went really smooth. Just show up early and wait. My friend of mine went through the same thing and they went to the states for a month and came back to Italy and within another month she got hers in the mail.
