K1 visa- Embassy/ Consulate inquiries

Hey guys, this must be a dumb question but I'm just new here. I'm originally from

the Philippines but I work in Bahrain for 7 years now, my fiance intends to apply for a K1 visa and I understand that I would be required to send documentations as well. Would that be the in US Embassy in the Philippines or US Embassy in Bahrain? 

I hope it makes sense.

In the I-129F form, under Consular Processing Information (Item No. 62a and 62b), your fiance is required to state which embassy you'd be applying for the K-1 if the petition is approved. And when the time comes, if you're asked to submit some documents to the embassy beforehand, you'll be sending them to the said embassy.

I think I have read of Philippines nationals processing K1 visas at embassies outside of the Philippines, but perhaps the moderators could move this thread to the Philippine subforum in case there are issues specific to Manila (like would the OP still need to go through CFO--If she has not already--or if there are specific police clearances needed from the Philippines in addition to Bahrain, Cenomars/Cemars, etc.)
