You guys are doing great job tracking these date. It could be also beneficial to mark the most and least progressed field offices in addition to the leading and most lagging ones. Looks like Columbus, OH was the winner last month; went up 69 days; the losers of the months were Albany and Los Angeles, I don't know how it is possible but they both went back in time. Overall average progress was 25 days.

@spottymax Thanks for putting this data together. Not sure how you scraped the data from USCIS's website, but I certainly wouldn't have had the patience, so thank you very much!

I did some analysis on you data, and calculated what I'll call a processing differential. Its the difference between the change in the "Processing Cases As of Date" and the time elapsed between updates. Take Agana GU for example, the time elapsed between the March update and the April update is 30 days, but the FOs processing date changed from 9/26/16 to 10/29/16 or 33 days, so the processing differential would be +3 days, i.e. the FO gained 3 days of processing. This tells us if the FO has as surplus or deficit of processing power. I also added total column which aggregates the diffs from the total span of data -  151 days from 11/30/2016 to 4/30/2017.

I attaching it here as a pic - the best way I think I can do it - so apologies if it doesn't show up properly.

A couple highlights from the data - Miami fares the worst. Its showing a total diff of -106, which means its only been able to process 45 days worth of applications in the 151 days. San Jose did the best with a total diff of 32, which means it processed 183 days worth of apps in the 151 day time frame.

My FO is NYC which is showing a total diff of -61, and had a consistent deficit each of the 5 months. Its sad, but I don't think sustainable. At that rate NYC would be adding 4-5 months each year, so at some point i think the Agency would bring in ringers to clean up some of the backlog. But we don't have enough data to see that.

One more thing @spottymax, I had to manually adjust some of your data that had some clear typos - e.g. 2017, 2013, or the columns were transposed. I also changed the instances where the data showed retrogression to progression. And in those instances - I just put int best guesses. We can all verify the latest data - and that seems correct. So the historical data may not be 100% accurate - but certainly shows trends.

Hope this helps!

Cheers!

@MnMJourney  thanks for letting me know about the errors, all years should have been 2016 and I fixed them on the website.  It is a little tedious to go through and transcribe the info, but I think it is important to hold onto a historical record of field office performance (I appreciate you going through and analyzing the data, ti's one of the reason I compiled it).

Hello... It's been years since I've been on this site.  Anyway, I am trying to help a friend.  Her permanent residency card expires sometime early next year, and so I am trying to see if she might get her interview before the date her permanent residency card expires, or if she should just apply for renewal of that card just in case.   She filed in May, and will be doing biometrics I believe early July.  she lives near Sacramento and about an hour from San francisco.  On this chart, it has August dates for "As of April 30".  What does this mean??  Could someone please explain for this newbie (regarding citizenship  questions).  Thanks!

Also how do I find timelines for other people on this site who have gone through Sacramento or San Francisco?  Thank you.
