SO i got to the embassy at 7 am. my interview was scheduled for 9:30am. i hadn't made photo copies of my documents so i got them made before i went to the consulate to ask the guard if i could enter. they adviced i wait till i get called. we were about 50 in number. some young ladies came to call us after 9 and we went through the security checks before we were allowed into the embassy.

I didn't have my phone so i don't know when i was actually interviewed but it wasn't in the morning. you lose track of time in that place. trust me.

so anyway this is how the interview went down

CO: hello how are ya?

Me: I'm fine thanks

CO: your name seems mis arranged on your certificate and the Ds 260 page

ME: i explained

CO: okay, why did you take so many tests in high school

ME: i explained

CO: are you married

ME: i answered

CO: where will you be going

ME: i answered

CO:what's there

ME: i answered

CO: why are u beardless in some of your pictures

by now i knew i had been granted so we were just having a conversation like buddies

ME: i laughed. and explained

then the CO handed me a blue paper and congratulated me.

it wasn't really as smooth but it wasn't too hard either. i believe being able to express your self and not faking an accent may be a plus. but i could be wrong.

all the best to whoever reads this.

just make sure u don't go applying multiple times in a single draw. they can tell. i didn't even know that was a problem or possible until i got there. bt i never thought of applying more than once. if i had i would have lost this opportunity.

Prayers work too. i had whole planet of warriors praying for me amidst my own little ones
