I haven't seen a June 2017 thread/forum for an AOS.  I am petitioner filing for spouse, he arrived on a K1 Fiancee Visa. We got married May 19, 2017.

I mailed AOS packet to Chicago on 5/31/17 and they received 6/01/17.

Expecting email/text notification soon! We are waiting very patiently, but my husband is very eager to work.

Anyone please share your timelines and experiences! 😊

Any June AOS filers here???

Congrats on your marriage and for starting the AOS process!

While AOS processing varies depending on the field office, expect the entire process (filing to receipt of green card) to take up to a year. We filed our I-485 June 2016 and my wife just got her green card on June 3, 2017. Hopefully you guys also filed for EAD and AP. The review for those take about 90 days.

Yes! Thank you!!!

Wow, seriously?! I didn't think it would last that long! I was expecting maybe 6 months or so for the green card. Of course, I filed the EAD and AP for him as suggested. Congratulations on your wife's green card, so jealous! :)

You might get it sooner than a year. It really depends on the workload at your local field office where they process your application.

You can check average AOS processing times here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php

I received three (3) emails and (3) texts last night around 9pm from USCIS!!! AOS was accepted and routed to MSC! Yayy!

I received three different case numbers, I-485 Fingerprint fee received, I-797 EAD, & I-131 AP.

I'm from WA, I thought the AOS would sent to a local CIS office. Does this mean my husband wont get an interview? What state is MSC? I assume its Missouri???

The AOS gets processed at MSC first (in Missouri) and will either get transferred to your local office (in which case you will most likely get an interview) or to the CA office if you don't need an interview. You won't know until much later in the process though. In either case you will get called in to the local office to get your biometrics done.

Yes that should be fine as long its legible like in PDF form, just make sure to submit the translation for birth certificate too.

Remember never submit originals of supporting documents or evidence unless requested. Usually at interviews.
