Getting Married on a B1/B2 Visa (merged)

I have a question about getting married on a B1/B2 visa. I am a US citizen and my fiance is a Cambodian national and we both live in Korea. My fiance already obtained is tourist visa to go to the USA this summer for my brother's wedding. We were planning on doing paperwork to get married in Korea when we came back, but now because of Cambodian law, we found out we can't do this.....So now we are considering getting married in the USA small this time and still going back for our ceremony about 1 year later, but I don't know if it will be a problem, and also if it will be a problem later that we got married while he was on a visitor visa? When he applies for a visa again, will it be for coming to the USA for our wedding ceremony. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

You're allowed to get married on a tourist visa in the US. That won't be an issue down the road if he applies for another visa in the future. As always though, he needs to bring sufficient evidence of his ties to back home to show that he intends to leave before his I-94 stamp will expire.

As above, getting married within the US is no problem as long as the visitor intends to leave after their stay.

Thank you for the replies. Just one more question and that is: Will this cause any problems next year when he applies to come to the U.S. for our wedding ceremony? What kind of visa would that be? Thank you!

He would apply for another B-1/B-2. Yes, if he is married to a US citizen it can cause problems. They might assume he has intent to immigrate and refuse the visa. This happened to us when my husband applied for a B.
