I am in Florida and I want to know if we can legally drive or do we have to wait until we get our work permit/green card.

My understanding is tourists can drive on an international drives license for 30 days, but there is no rule anyone can tell me for ppl like myself on a K1 visa.

Are you in the USA on a B1/B2? You are from Australia? Then us for 90 days.

If you are an immigrant/K1 visa holder, the 90 days does not apply. You have to go to the BMV and sit the written/oral (varies by State) and driving test
