this my case 2017AF00046xxx how i found it

thanks to you my brother

Please don't write exact case number.

scroll down to the diversity visa section. If you are not Egypt or Ethiopia then your number is already current and ready for interview. If Egypt or Ethiopia you need to wait till your case number is below the ones specified in the table.

are you think i lost immigration

thanks to your answer

So you only just discovered you won 2017? I think you have time but you have to be quick to submit DS260s (or, I guess you did that already right?) In this case I suggest you email KCC to explain you only just found out and that you only just submitted DS and request to be reassured that they will process it. When you email them you need to include your full name, your case number and your date of birth in US format month, day, year or they will not answer.

By the way, it doesn't matter where you live now, if born in Egypt and country charged to Egypt then you are subject to Egyptian cut off for numbers. If your number is higher than 26250 you would still not yet interview by June and need to keep watching the bulletins. If it's below that then KCC can schedule you when they are finished processing your form. In the meanwhile ensure you collect all your civil documents according to the links from the selection letter.

As I said above, scroll down in the visa bulletIn until you reach the section for diversity visas to check the numbers. It doesn't matter where you live  or work or interview, you are still subject to the Egyptian cutoff.  So your number is not yet eligible to be scheduled for interview.

For April, immigrant numbers in the DV category are available to qualified DV-2017 - Egypt:     21,800

For May, immigrant numbers in the DV category are available to qualified DV-2017  - Egypt:    24,500

this mean KCC not arrived to my number and should wait next month to check and when i found my number under last number writ to KCC ask about when i have interview . is this what i should do

Yes you read it correctly, but there's a later bulletin than the one you checked that has numbers to June, which is the 26250 I mentioned a few posts above.

I suggest you write to KCC NOW so that they are aware you are a late submission for DV2017 and that they need to check  for your form (because currently thousands of DS260s for DV2018 are being submitted and you might otherwise get sent to the back of that line...).

You do not contact them to arrange an interview, they will automatically schedule one for you when your number is current, IF your DS260 has been processed by them, and update your notification page when that happens. The point of watching the bulletin is so that you know when to expect that and be sure you have all your documents etc ready.

Please correct all areas in error as indicated below. Once you have finished, click ''Sign and Submit Application' to continue.

  • The case number you entered does not match the case number that you entered at Sign In.

even though the number is correct ..

Is anyone having this problem?

HELLO I had the same problem when I submit the application of my cousin but fortunately I was lucky to find it. For all who have the same problem which posts this text:The case number you entered does not match the case number that you entered at Sign In.

You have just to delete the three 000. Example 2018AFXXXXX

Good luck guys!!!!!!!Pray for me so that I win next year.

You will need a valid US address ...you can just put down a hotel or something in the meanwhile if it won't let you submit otherwise, but at some point you will need to find someone you can use. They need an address (street address) for your green card and SSN card to get sent to. You can change the address at your interview, and again at your port of entry.

Guys, leave out the zeroes in the middle...it should work then.

Hi SusieQQQ,

I completed the DS260 recently and i am not sure what the next steps will be. I am part of the lottery for 2018 and checked the visa bulletin but says May and June 2017 and my region is CURRENT. When can i expect an email from KCC to see whether i have an interview? Thank you
