hello sir .am from tunisia and my fiancé from new mexco usa we know echothers for 3 years .she visid me last month for 23 dayes .my age its 27 and my finace she is older  then me like 20 years its that big problem for i can have k1 visa and be with her ?? thank

I can see where you are coming from my friend. But no, I do not believe that the age difference between you and your fiance' will be of any concern. As you may or may not be aware but wide age differences is looked at as something unusual. Certainly not unusual by US standards. I really wouldn't worry about this too much my friend.

is it a red flag? yes.  Will it cause your visa to be denied? No necessarily.  You need to prove a genuine relationship and K1 in some countries is much much harder.  Spend lots of time together in person.

Won't be denied but it will certainly be a hard hill to climb towards approval.

It all comes down to if that kind of age gap (woman ~20 years older than their husband) is uncommon in Tunisian culture. If so, it'll be a flag and you will need to overcome that flag with enough relationship evidence.

 

It's by no means a disqualifier...even larger age gaps are approved. Just know that you need evidence and to start gathering whatever you can. More face-to-face time is always beneficial, too.

How many times have you visited each other in the three years that you knew each other? Are you both Muslim? 

 

It could definitely be a concern so make sure you spend plenty of time together, and make sure she is willing to go to Tunisia to get married and do a CR1 if the K1 visa does not work out for you.
