My wife had her interview on April 7, 2017. Everything went smoothly, they only asked 2 questions. Everything else was just smiling and talking back and forth about other subjects. She received g221 to send in original Marriage certificate and Birth certificate ( note reason: I had made copies that looked so much like the originals that she thought it was original) They told her everything was fine that once the originals are submitted they will issue the visa. They took her passport and said it probably will take a week after they pick up the Originals. The website updated last 3 days but still say under administrative processing. Anyone in Manila Philippines went through this? I just wanted to get a time frame on roughly how long it will take for us to get our visa. Thanks

Something similar happened to us.  We had to get an updated NBI clearance after my wife's interview that showed her former married name on her NBI Clearance.  Here was our timeline at USEM.

As a follow-up to my original post, our visa took 21 days to be issued. We had to provide an additional document to the Embassy, which added an additional 6 days to our overall processing time making it 27 days total from Interview to Visa Issued.

The Visa process is:

1. Interview

2. Immigrant Visa Ready

3. Immigrant Visa Administrative Processing (6 Days)

4. Non-Immigrant Visa Ready (20 Days)

5. Non-Immigrant Visa Administrative Processing (1 Day)

6. Non-Immigrant Visa Issued

7. Embassy to Courier to pick-up (2 Days)

Hope this helps everyone. Good Luck to all!!!

Thanks LJ2016 . Hopefully i can bring my wife here by 2nd week of May.

Another piece of advice that I learned the hard way.  Don't purchase plane tickets until you wife has her visa in hand.  Here is what happened to me.  I attended my wife's interview at USEM.  That was day 1.  We went on vacation directly afterward and took a little Tour de Philippines.  I planned a "tour" for like 19 business days assuming that we would have our visa in hand and waiting for us at Mall of Asia upon our return to Manila.  We planned 3 days in Manila at the end of our vacation to pick up our visa, attend CFO, do some more sight seeing, and fly back to the US together.  As you can see from my timeline this didn't happen.  I had to change my flight after our plans had been foiled.  Long story short, I had to go home to the US without her on day 29 after her interview because we didn't have her visa.  As I was boarding the plane in MNL, I got the text message that her visa was approved.  Imagine that.  LOL  In the end she came a week later so no big deal.  However, it cost me like 120,000 skymiles to change my flight plus the extra $800 dollars or so to buy her a one way ticket.  Previously, I had gotten both of our tickets for like 90,000 skymiles.  However, my well though out plan backfired.  Murphy got the best of me.  I lost a lot of skymiles and it ended up costing me about twice what I originally planned for.  It would have been a much cheaper option to just have waited and then bought the ticket.  LOL

Good luck!
