I recently just mailed my I-130 package and I checked yesterday it said delivered but I just realized that I forgot to put my name and my husbands name on the back of our passport before i sent it on Saturday. Please any advise as to what to do? Would my application be sent back to me since I didn't put our names on the passports. I'm so worried and stressed out about can anyone help me out thanks.  I put every required documents needed I just forgot the names of the passport. I wonder if there is a number to call them so they can return to me so I can write our names and then send it back to them. Please what do I do? Should I even be worried about it?

At this point, i would say, don't worry about it. They might let it slide, worst case scenario, they would give you a RFE, which i GREATLY doubt. Relax, It's a 3 stage journey. While waiting, start collecting documents for the NVC stage " 2 " I would say don't call any number. If they need anything else, they would let you know. All the best of luck! :D

You don't send passports with an I-130. Do you mean passport photos?

Unless you're in a same-sex relationship, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Judging from the photos, they'll see who is the petitioner and who is the beneficiary.

Hopefully, USCIS don't loose the photos and they remain with the casefile.

Agreed. I wouldn't stress over the photos too much. They are just mug shots to attach to your file. My husband's one wasn't even a proper passport photo (I printed it myself and cut it to size). They ask you to write your name on the back lightly and in pencil. We did that and you could barely read what it said. As mallafri has said, they should be able to tell which is which. My husband has a mustache and goatee so I hope they could tell which was which!

Thanks everyone for the reassurance. This whole process is making me so anxious and very worried. I don want to make any kind of mistakes at all, I want everything to go as smooth as possible.

I forgot to put our names on the back of the photos when we submitted i-130 application. We didn't get an RFE. The application passed on through. Doesn't seem to be a stringent requirement.

I even saw a british/american couple get an RFE for not having the names on the back of the passport photos. Not a same-sex couple either, you'd think USCIS would manage to figure it out..

Hopefully your case ends up with someone who doesn't RFE something like that. And even if you do get an RFE it's not a big deal, you could keep photos ready to send just in case.
