Philippines Police Clearance for Beneficiary Living Abroad

Hi! I was reading the requirements for Police Clearance. I am the beneficiary and living in Singapore for 9 years. I understand that i have to get Police Clearance in Singapore and Philippines. My question is:

 

1. Is NBI Clearance Sufficient ? - I get do finger printing at Philippine Embassy in Singapore  for this

2. If you have gotten a Police Certificate, may i know how? (except by flying back to Phillipines)

03/30/2017: NOA2 YAYYYyyyyy  36 days after NOA1.. Blessed  

04/19/2017: Email from NVC

04/19/2017: DS-261 unlocked

04/21/2017: AOS paid

04/25/2017: IV paid

06/14/2017: Sent AOS Package

06/21/2017: Scan date

08/23/2017: Case Complete (9 weeks)

08/24/2017: Received automatic checklist via email from NVC to bring proof of domicile during interview. Still waiting for Interview Appointment.

08/30/2017: Received email from NVC telling that they will be schedule interview.

09/06/2017: Received email from NVC regarding Interview Date

10/25/2017: Interview Date

09/14/2017: Emailed US Embassy to cancel our interview and postpone as wife is pregnant. USEM mentioned to contact them 3 weeks prior to intended date of appointment.

Thanks for giving me a clearer idea. Checking just in case NVC needs both. 

 

Looks like I will be submitting my documents a little later as it takes a while for me to get NBI as I am not in Phillippines.

Thanks! Did my research and read this yesterday and was happy. I was just worried if i need to get local police clearance too but i guess NBI is sufficient :)

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Since you are working in Singapore , you need a COC ( Certificate of Clearance in Singapore ) in able to get that, you need a letter from US Embassy in Singapore. They will send it to you on Packet 3.

I did my NBI on Philippine embassy in Singapore and send the papers to my sister so she can process it for me. Philippine embassy in Singapore did give me the authorization letter for my sister. My sister bring it to NBI taff because its the only place they can process the NBI.

 

Since you are working in Singapore , you need a COC ( Certificate of Clearance in Singapore ) in able to get that, you need a letter from US Embassy in Singapore. They will send it to you on Packet 3.
