Hi! I am currently living inside U.S and applying for I-130'and I-485 to change my status. It has been a month from the day I sent my documents, but I haven't received anything from them. How long should I wait? And what can I do if they lose my papers? 

P/s: I sent papers on march 16,2017

What day does the tracking information say the package was delivered to USCIS?

It can take up to 30 days to receive receipt notifications from USCIS.

 

You should always, always, always use a delivery service with tracking whenever you send anything to USCIS. You now have no idea whether it was actually delivered or not.
