Wrong entry for marriage status

Hi,

when entering my data for DV program, I (or agent, who I used) entered wrongly marriage status. It was entered as single with 1 child, although I do have husband.

I know, awful mistake!

For DV-2017, I was selected and ... I still did not submit my DS-260 application because I am afraid, my visa will be rejected.

It stays: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/diversity-visa/if-you-are-selected/submit-your-ds-260-online-application.html

Important note: If you had a spouse or children prior to submitting your original entry, but you did not include them on your original entry form, then your case will be disqualified at the time of your visa interview. Neither you nor any of your family members will receive visas.

I contacted KCC and they told me that is deepens on the person, who will interview me.

Did anyone had similar situation like I?

Let me add that my husband is German and he does NOT want GREEN Card. He said, that if we move to the USA,  his employer will get him work permit.

What shall I do? Give a try or home for good luck in DV-2018?

Please advice. I would appreciate.

Agnes

Emily is correct, this will be an automatic disqualification. (KCC's apparently ambiguous answer derives from the fact that they are admin only and defer any judgement to consular officials - even when it is obvious the person is ineligible or will be disqualified. They simply are not allowed to give you an immigration judgement  opinion). Don't waste your time and money. I'd encourage you to enter again for the next one, and don't use an agent. It's easy and simple to do it yourself.
