Hello everyone. I have a query regarding the requirements during the interview. I already have my cenomar last feb, i had my NOA1 last march 1 and i still dont have the noa 2. Would there be problems if my cenomar would be 4-5months old during the interview? Has anyone experienced this? Another question is how many CENOMARs and Birth certs do i need to prepare? Thanks in advance to those who will respond. :D

CENOMAR is a requirement for the beneficiary to produce in order to ensure she/he is single and is qualified for a k1 visa.

That's how it is here in the philippines. U might not be from here. Even in the US they have that CENOMAR thing is the us embassy doesnt require the petitioner only the beneficiary.

Sis you cant use that for interview they need  a re-verification for us embassy you can only apply for it once you have the manila case number.the nso(psa) will send directly to us embassy in manila

Hi Loreal i guess there wouldn't be any problem with that as CENOMAR doesn't have expiration it's just that according to what i've  read in some of the post here n VJ , US Embassy wants it to be recent. I also got mine even without the NOA2 yet. 4-5 years is not tha long prior to interview. I got me 2 copies each as we would need a copy during the interview and a copy as requirement for marriage application in the US. God bless you

Hey there! Thanks for the info, cenomar is only valid for 6months. Do u know how recent would the embassy need? How about the birth certs how many copies shoud i prepare?:)

Don't know how recent the embassy requires but it's best close dated than sorry. CENOMAR applications are released within 5 working days if you would go to a PSA branch office. Some members here got 3 copies each to be sure. Walang anuman.

Hi. The CENOMAR I used from the very start of our application is the same CENOMAR I had with me during interview. I ordered several copies of my CENOMAR.

 

P.S.

 

For your BIRTH CERTIFICATE better get 5. I had 5 with me. Coz you will also use it when you process AOS when you get to US. Better have extra than less.
