Hi I'm Francis, from Uganda I'm going through the same situation, worried if I'll get a tourist visa to visit my wife in  Oakdale Minnesota,we got married here a few months ago, I need some advise on this too

It may be difficult for you to get a tourist via, with a US citizen wife, especially if you have not travelled much before.  But if you have the money, it is worth a try, all they can say is no.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
