New I-864 for interview?

Hi everyone!

So my husband filed the AOS package in December 2016, we got case complete and now my interview is 14 April.

Question: do we need a new I-864 for the interview? Do we also need to bring the old one?

Another question: how bad would it be if I don't have the new I-864 and tax stuff for 2016 at interview? We are having some problems with getting the taxes and he might not be able to mail me the new stuff on time.

I am super nervous at this point..

If your financials have changed since you submitted the original i-864 definitely take an updated one.  You should also get a list from your embassy about what to bring.  As for taxes, the answers are borderline on that right now. It's not yet the deadline for taxes to be filed ... but by your interview it may be.  I'd suggest getting your partner to scan and send you a copy to print out and take to the interview (obviously the original would have gone to IRS so you wouldn't have the original in this case)
