We just got the approval for my husbands 14 year old son of the I-130 what is the next step?

His son is currently still in England with his Ex-Wife

It states that they will contact the relevant Consular Office?  I assume that to be London? That they will notify his Ex-Wife who will have to take him to the Embassy?

Is this correct?

Do we now need to file any other paperwork or do anything else?

Thanks for all the help we have had so far on this journey.

After I-130 is approved, case is sent to National Visa Center, NVC.

As soon as the NVC receives a case they assign a case number to it and will inform you with the case number and prehaps next steps.  NVC can take 60 or more days to notify you of your NVC case number.

Steps to follow will be explained in the Welcome Letter from NVC once the application is ready for further processing.  Expect to pay $120 + $325 in the next steps with NVC and fill out DS-260 for the 14 year old son.

If you don't hear from them in 75 days or so, don't hesitate to call NVC @1-603-334-0700 to find more details from them.  They will ask USCIS receipt number, name of the petitioner, etc.

Ok..thanks...Youre awesome.

The Priority date was 3/27 (64 business days) so I got a few weeks before I should expect something. I guess I'll call in July. We sent out a request to our local congresswoman last week because USCIS was is so awfully slow regarding the I-765 and I-485...Both significantly past the normal processing times..in that request we included ALL cases...so hopefully we'll be hearing from the NVC soon.
