just one strange thing is regarding the civic test. Congrats!!! So did you ask about when you are going to get an oath letter?  Also during the interview, did he ask you to show him any supporting documents?

i asked , and he said it is going to be within 90 days, but he think it will be much earlier than that...

 

the only supporting document was the house deed, because he asked if my wife name is on the mortgage, and I said not on the mortgage but yes on the house, so he took copy of the deed. that was all. the other thing he asked as i said were the pictures

what amazed me the most, is that he had my GC application file, and he reviewed it, and was cool to see all the pictures i sent in few years back lol

Thanks for the info.  Did you apply base on 3 year marriage or 5 year?  Just wondering why the IO focused so much on your marriage.

Base on 3 years marriage. I think was normal because of that

Hey folks,

 

I have been absent from this feed for quite some time but I recently caught up with the threads and wanted to add my journey.

 

Location: Los Angeles

Filed: Nov. 15, 2016

Fingerprints: mid December 2016

Interview: July 14th -- took 15-20 mins, very straight forward, approved/recommended for citizenship

Ceremony: Aug 22nd!!!! Just got the ceremony letter this week!!

 

This has truly been a tough journey but God has always shown me the light. I pray for the best for everyone. Remain optimistic and hopeful. It WILL happen for everyone.
