Hello, its been awhile since I have been here. I would appreciate any answers given. I always had good responses from here and I really appreciate it. I would like to know, what form would I need to file as a sponsor for my friend. She is the main sponsor for her husband but doesn't work and has never filed a tax return. I know she needs an I864, but as a joint sponsor should I file for the same form or should I file for form I864A Affidavit of Support because I am married and my husband has to sign it?

I864 as you are in separate households. I864A is for sponsors in the same household
