Hi there I am currently looking into which would be faster and easier for my fiance and me. Between a K1 and DCF within Hong Kong.

Currently my fiance has a B1/B2 tourist visa because we came and visited the US a couple times prior.

I would like to know if we did a DCF in Hong Kong, if it is even possible, would I need to be present for any interviews or submitting of any of the applications/information.

I am planning on going to HK in May, I moved back earlier to the USA to get a job and settle down. If we got married during my visit in HK in May would we be able to file a DCF and speed up the process of receiving a 'Green Card?'

Or would it be better to file for a K1 visa soonish, wait the 6-7 months, then move her over, marry in the USA, then file for the AOS?

I just started looking into all of this and I would really like to the quickest/safest way and cheapest method. thanks.

First, there is no DCF in HK. Secondly, you wouldn't qualify for DCF since (generally) you must have your principle residence in the country for the last 6 months. Since your primary residence in in the US, DCF just isn't possible.

K-1 would be the fastest method to get her to to the US. ETA 6-8 months.

I imagine K-1 is easier anyway since you don't have any issues showing domicile in the US and you have a job in the US so the affidavit of support part will be easier too.
