Well I check a couple of sites I only have $3000 to take to the US most one way tickets cost $3000 and over,  so guess I might have to take my chances and ask my aunt to bail me out after 2 months or lose my trip completely.  I am curious though Has nobody EVER been admitted to the US for 5 months? What's the point of like allowing you in for 6 then??

Of course there's been plenty of people who were allowed to enter the US to stay for the full six months including me. That being said it depends on a lot of factors whether you will get allowed to stay for such an extended time:

- country of origin

- ties to your home country

- travel experience and previous travel to the US

- money saved

- CBP officer

so it will depend on all these factors how many months you will be granted or whether you will be allowed to enter at all (if the CBP officer thinks there is something fishy about you then he/she won't let you enter). You can just tell your aunt after the POE that the CBP officer told you that he advises you to only stay two or three months maximum in order for you to be allowed to keep on using your B visa. What you are asking is not a problem you have, you are making it way bigger than it is.
