Interview August 16 2015 case returned Jan 1, They USCIS, received our file march 1 2016, I got notice was being security checks done on it still is why so long, so I think few more months. Email about the expiring soon on yours then get ready for a wait. Get us citizen to visit you and stay if possible to get the doubt about the ex cleared up. 

I don't have to wait for so long cos mine will be a year in may ?. My congressman is also tryin his best.

Good  , I'm happy for you, ours been one year from date they received the visa petition back from Ghana, in march and really until I hear from them I have no idea when we will be completed. Our congressman has contacted several times also I think it helped to get more information but did not speed up anything. After the reaffirm there will be wait for new appointment also. We will see as it happens.
