I don't really think people are thinking about that. They are focused on a dangerous individual in the top spot. It's the lesser of two evils argument perhaps. Do you want the guy who won't send us into a constitutional crisis, push the red buttons, and actually listen to his advisors and institutions? Or do you want a guy who will do the exact opposite and more? It's a gamble, but I think I know which one the GOP will choose, Dems don't get a choice despite the protesting.

Hardcore evangelicals would not agree sadly. Well, it's more like a separation for certain religions, but not for them.

They are Salvation Army pastors.  Many of their congregation and colleagues do not agree.  But they respect the constitution.

Yep, sky is falling.  What is interesting is that I felt the same way 8 years ago, but I gave Obama and his inexperience a chance.  This is a lot more than the "progressives" are giving Trump.

No doubt. I got mocked the other day because I refuse to declare gloom and doom after 3 1/2 weeks, no no how rude of me to instead give him the same amount of time, not more, as I did with Obama. A year. Until then, yeah I will criticize certain policies, yeah I will be happy about other ones, but I refuse to determine, decide or declare what kind of president overall I think he is until that time period is over. Before then is just too early to reach any kind of conclusion imo.

Love that quote, it's priceless. Conservative publications going nuts about this too, they like Haward and don't understand why Trump wouldn't just dump the Flynn-leftovers to start over fresh and gain credibility.

DONALD Trump was fully briefed on the content of Michael Flynn’s call with Russia after it happened, according to Fox News.

The President heard the details of the controversial communications between his national security adviser and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, the news outlet reported. Those calls are now at the centre of a national security scandal that cost General Flynn his job.

“Under repeated questioning during an investigation by the White House Counsel’s Office, General Flynn I’m told had a full recollection of what he talked about with the Russian Ambassador,” Fox News Chief White House Correspondent John Roberts reported.

Gen Flynn initially said he did not discuss sanctions, or didn’t fully remember the content of those conversations.
